Job Description:

A Baker is an important job in the food industry, particularly in Canada. Responsibilities include preparing doughs and batters, baking goods such as breads, cakes and pastries and developing new recipes. Bakers must possess a good knowledge of different types of ingredients; they must also have excellent organizational skills to ensure that their work is efficient and productive. 

The primary responsibilities of a Baker are to measure ingredients accurately according to recipes, mix doughs and batters using various techniques and equipment such as mixers, ovens and other kitchen tools. They must be able to decorate baked goods with icing or other decorations for presentation purposes
